Send Free SMS To Any Mobile Number Through Gmail

You may visited many websites which offers you to send free SMS on any mobile networks. But all of them have some conditions or mostly they start sending spam and disturbing users. Some of them takes too much time to send an SMS.

Read below steps carefully and follow them to send free SMS.

• Go to www.gmail.com
• If you already have an account, Sign in or if you don’t have any account on Gmail, Create a New Account

• After Sign In,  You can see a text box on left side, “Search, Chat or SMS”

• Write a Mobile Number to send SMS. If you are using this first time, I recommend you to use your own number to test this service.
• When you start writing your number, you can see drop down options. Write a complete number and click on SEND SMS.
• When you clicked on SEND SMS option, you will see a dialog box as shown in below screenshot.

• Write the contact name, this is for future use and Hit Save.
• A small dialog box appear in the below right corner, in which you can write your message.

• After writing your message Hit enter key and your message will send in seconds.
• If receiver reply to your message that reply will also show in same dialog box.
• For future conversation, say your receiver to save the number from which they are receiving your messages that associated with your Gmail account.

SMS Credits:

SMS Credit is a number of messages you can send in a day. Through Gmail messaging service,

• You have a daily limit of 50 messages.
• When you send a message, your credit decrease by 1.
• When you receive a message, your credit increase by 5.

For example, if you send a message to any number, you will loose 1 SMS credit. but when receiver reply to you on Gmail from mobile you will receive 5 SMS credit till you reach 50.

SMS Charges:

There is no charges while sending SMS from Gmail to mobile number except SMS Credits which I explain above.

If you are a receiver and want to reply from mobile to Gmail, then there will be charges. Contact your service provider for Details.

For Example: In Pakistan, you send a free SMS from Gmail to Mobilink number, the receiver reply to your message that is Mobilink to Gmail. The Mobilink user will charge this time, approximate 1 PKR + Tax per SMS.

Block SMS from Gmail:

If you are a receiver and someone is disturbing you by sending messages from Gmail you can block them by sending keyword “BLOCK”. If you change your mind and again want to start conversation you can again send message to that number with keyword “UNBLOCK”.

TIP:

If you have low SMS credits and want to increase you can send an SMS to your own number and reply to that SMS multiple times each time you will increase your SMS credits by five, till you reach the maximum limit that is 50.
